Caroline Barton Takes Third at USATF U20 Cross Country Championships

PORTLAND, ORE. – Caroline Barton took third place at the USATF U20 Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Portland, Oregon.
Barton finished the women's 6k in 21:54.6, clocking in with only two runners ahead of her in a field of 28.
With the achievement, Barton will now represent the USA at the upcoming World Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. on January 10.
This cross country season, Barton made her debut for the Tigers, earning First Team All-Ivy honors with a fifth place finish.
Now, she and the Tigers will take a pause from competition before returning to the indoor track season in January.
