McNatt, Madison Make NCAA Championship Debuts
November 22, 2025 | Women's Cross Country
COLUMBIA, MO. – Anna McNatt and Meg Madison competed at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Mo. on Saturday, representing Princeton individually as they put up strong performances in a field of the nation's best.
Junior McNatt set a new 6k personal best time of 19:41.6, placing 67th after making significant advances at the second and third kilometer marks. Passing 45 runners between 1k and 2k, she made the largest 2k jump in the entire field.
Saving her best race for the biggest one of the season, McNatt's time is a three-second improvement from her previous personal record.
Sophomore Madison also made significant gains as she passed 49 runners between 2k and 4k. She crossed the finish line at 20:12.1 for 147th place in a field of over 260 runners.
The race marked both McNatt's and Madison's national championship debut, as their qualification is a testament to their consistent improvement and hard work during their time in the Orange & Black thus far.
With the cross country season completed, as these two Tigers led the program to another year of historic victory, McNatt, Madison and the Tigers will now look ahead to the start of the indoor track & field season.
Princeton will kick off the indoor season with the Penn Opener on Dec. 6.
