Men’s Swimming & Diving 800 Freestyle Relay Registers NCAA A-Cut On Night One Of Ivy Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The first day of the NCAA Ivy League Championships kicked off for the No. 23 men's swimming and diving team. After finishing in sixth in the 200 medley relay, Princeton came back in full force to not only take first in the 800 freestyle, but secure an NCAA A-cut.
Arthur Balva, Mitchell Schott, Noah Sech and Patrick Dinu clocked in at 6:13.75 which is good for a new Ivy record, pool record, program record and a trip to the NCAA Championships. This stands as the first relay NCAA qualification for the program since 2016.
The Tigers will be back in action with event prelims beginning at 11:00 AM and the finals at 6:00 PM.
