
Women’s Rugby Takes Down West Chester At Emperor 7s

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team hosted the Emperor 7s Sunday at Rickerson Field at Haaga House, a day highlighted by a 19-5 victory over West Chester.
The day opened with Princeton's win over WCU. Sofie Grouws scored with 6:50 on the clock, then Josie Frazer crossed the try line at 8:29. Annie Huettel was successful on both conversion attempts. Celia Watson scored the Tigers' final try of the match with 11:50 as the match ended with a 19-5 final score.
Princeton's second match of the day saw the Tigers fall to Dartmouth, 24-5. Watson scored her second try of the day at 13:04. Princeton dropped its final match of the day to Queens, 27-0.
