Soccer Teams Earn United Soccer Coaches Academic Awards
August 03, 2025 | General, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer
Both the Princeton men's and women's soccer teams had a championship year on the field in 2024, and they did so while excelling in the classroom as well.
The Tiger men and women each qualified for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, which recognizes teams across all divisions both inside and outside the NCAA who have achieved at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 school year. Princeton was one of 151 schools to have both their men's and women's teams achieve the honor this year.
Princeton's women became the first team to pull off the Ivy League double, winning the Ivy League title and the Ivy League Tournament championship, and the Princeton men won the Ivy League Tournament title, with each team representing the league in their NCAA tournament.
