September 16, 2025 | Men's Cross Country
PRINCETON, N.J. – Jacob Nenow was named Ivy Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
The award comes after Nenow took first place at the Iona Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions, finishing the five-mile race in 25:02.9. His time put him at an average mile pace of 5:00.6.
His performance helped Princeton secure a team win with 69 points, breaking a tie with Yale in head-to-head comparisons.
It is sophomore Nenow's first time winning the award, and the first time a Tiger has picked up the award this season.
The Tigers earned a sweep of the Ivy cross country awards this week, as Meg Madison picked up the honor on the women's side.
Nenow and the Tigers now look ahead to September 26, when they will head to Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic.
