Men's Cross Country Takes 27th at NCAA Championships
November 22, 2025 | Men's Cross Country
COLUMBIA, MO. – Led by Myles Hogan with a top-Tiger finish of 45, the Princeton men's cross country team took 27th at the NCAA Championships on Saturday.
Hogan, making significant jumps at the 2k and 3k mark, remained at the heels of the front pack of runners for most of the race.
After checking in at 26th at the 3k mark, Hogan stayed within the top 40 runners for the next six splits, running a tactical race as he kept pace with the nation's best.
In the final sprint, though, Hogan dropped several places, just missing the All-American distinction as he took 45th place with a time of 29:10.3.
Jacob Nenow, making his NCAA Championship debut, was just behind Hogan. Passing a combined 92 runners between 1k and 8k, sophomore Nenow raced to 57th place overall with a time of 29:17.9.
Jackson Shorten was next across the line for Princeton, clocking in at 30:00.3 for 157th place after passing 30 runners in the final 3k.
Sebastian Martinez and Hayden Boaz rounded out the Tiger scorers, clocking in at 30:50.3 and 31:12.6.
Steven Hergenrother and Avery Keith were the Tiger pushers, finishing at 31:18.0 and 31:49.3, respectively.
Concluding a cross country season that saw the Tigers win the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, Ivy Heps, and make a fifth-consecutive NCAA appearance, Princeton will now look ahead to the beginning of the indoor track season.
The Tigers will open the indoor season at the Penn Opener on Dec. 6.
