Meg Madison Claims Jersey Jam; Tigers Take Second To Open 2025

Meg Madison outkicked everyone on her home course, claiming victory at the Jersey Jam to open the 2025 cross country season.
Madison was almost 10 seconds clear of her next competitor, crossing the finish line first in a time of 13:57.8 over the 4.1k course. Lara Costa of Penn was second in 14:07.4.
The Quakers had three of the top five finishers en route to the team win, scoring 32 points to Princeton's 42. Monmouth was third with 77 points, while Rutgers was fourth with 80. Rider rounded out the field in fifth with 151 points.
Hannah Riggins was the second-highest finisher for the Tigers, taking 6th place in a time of 14:13.5. Abigail Errington was 8th with a time of 14:13.1. Princeton's scoring quintet was completed by Caroline Barton who was 13th (14:20.7) and Maddie Cramer who was 14th (14:26.0).
Kyah Anderson (15th; 14:27.4) and Emily Cooper (17th; 14:30.3) also posted Top-20 results for the Tigers to open their season.
Up next for the Tigers is a trip to Van Cortlandt Park on September 12 for the Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions hosted by Iona.
