Fantinelli & Zhao Tie For Third At Rod Myers Invitational

A pair of Princeton players were T3 in the individual standings at the Rod Myers Invitational as the Tigers opened their 2025-26 men's golf season.
Senior Riccardo Fantinelli and freshman Eric Zhao were among a group of four golfers to finish -6 over the three days of the tournament which was two shots behind UNC-Wilmington's John Logan who was first at -8. Duke's Bryan Kim was solo second at -7.
The team race saw the Tigers finish 8th out of 10 teams at +20. Duke won the team race at its home tournament at -20 overall.
Fantinelli opened with a 68 (-4) in the first round, posting a bogey-free opening round while recording four birdies. He would follow with rounds of 70 (-2) and 72 (E) to close out his tournament.
Zhao, competing as an individual and not counting towards the team score, was bogey-free in his first collegiate round with three birdies and an eagle on his way to a 67 (-5). On Saturday, he followed with a 72 (E) and he was one-under in the final round with a 71.
