Beeson, Robertson Win Matches at Virginia

No. 4 Virginia was a 7-2 winner over the No. 8-ranked Princeton men's squash team on Saturday in Charlottesville, with Hollis Robertson at first position and David Beeson at eighth position getting the Tigers' wins.
Robertson went back and forth with Virginia's top player, Juan Irisarri, in five games, while Beeson won the last two against Maxwell Velazquez to pull away from a 1-1 tie in games. Two more Tigers, Andrew Glaser at sixth position and Yuvraj Wadhwani at seventh, took their opponents to five games.
Princeton will open Ivy League play on Jan. 17 at Yale.
