CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After the first day of competition at HYP at Blodgett Pool, the Princeton University women's swimming & diving team leads Yale and trails Harvard.

Savannah Skow won the 200 freestyle after touching the wall at 1:45.71. Natalie Farquhar came in eighth (1:49.42).
Princeton's second event victory came in the 100 butterfly where Eleanor Sun finished in 1:55.66. Heidi Smithwick took fifth (1:57.60) and Chloe Kim fifth (1:57.79).
Sabrina Johnston earned the Tigers third in in the 50 freestyle, posting a time of 22.42. Sophia Sunwoo finished third (22.72), Veronique Rossouw fifth (23.10)
The quartet of Delaney Herr, Heidi Smithwick, Johnston and Sunwoo finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:38.21.
In the 100 backstroke, Herr finished second (53.33) and Edie Simecek fourth (54.39).
Kim took second (9:39.80) in the 1,000 freestyle and Meg Wheeler sixth (10:05.41).
Eliza Brown's time of 1:02.39 in the 100 breaststroke saw her finish fourth.
