Daniells And Callaghan Receive ECAC Monthly Awards For December

Two Princeton men's hockey players have received monthly awards from the ECAC for their efforts during the Tigers' 3-0-0 month to close out 2025 as Kai Daniells picked up ECAC Forward of the Month presented by Bluebird Hotels and Conor Callaghan was named MAC Goaltending ECAC Goaltender of the Month.
Kai Daniells tallied six points over Princeton's three games in December, scoring three times and adding three assists in wins over Union, RPI and Brown. In the victory over the Engineers, Daniells had a power-play goal and two assists before following up with a two-goal, one-assist afternoon in a non-conference win over Brown.
The month of December has continued one of the strongest starts to a season by any player in the country. Through 14 games, Daniells has 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points which is tied for 16th in the country. His 1.64 points-per-game lead all of Division I men's hockey and he ranks 4th in goals-per-game (0.93) and 8th in game-winning goals (3).
Connor Callaghan was 3-0-0 in December with a 1.63 GAA and .931 save percentage to go with one shutout and only five goals allowed over three starts.
Princeton concludes a five-game homestand with visits from RPI (Jan. 9) and Union (Jan. 10) at 7 p.m.
