Chhiv Clinches No. 54 Princeton's 4-1 Win Over No. 65 LMU To Complete Perfect Spring Break

Bella Chhiv won a third-set tiebreaker at No. 2 singles to give No. 54 Princeton the winning point in a 4-1 win over No. 65 Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles Saturday afternoon. The win completed a week in Southern California that featured sunshine, beach time and three wins in three matches.
The win over Loyola Marymount improved Princeton to 12-1 on the season. The Tigers had already defeated Fresno State and Cal Poly on the trip.
Princeton took the doubles point against LMU with wins from Tsehay Driscoll and Pearlie Zhang at No. 1 and Alice Ferlito and Maren Urata at No. 3. Eva Elbaz won a 6-3, 6-0 decision at No. 3 singles, and Driscoll finished off her match at No. 6 in straight sets as well at 6-2, 7-5.
Chhiv and LMU's Anastasia Bozova traded 6-2 sets before the third set went the distance, with a 7-3 win over by Chhiv to clinch things.
