David Jacobs Named A Finalist For ECAC Defensive Forward Of The Year

Senior David Jacobs has been recognized as one of the three elite two-way forwards in the ECAC with his selection as a finalist for Best Defensive Forward which will be presented at the ECAC Awards Ceremony in Lake Placid on Thursday night.
Jacobs, who has played in all 32 games for the Tigers this season, leads the Tigers in +/- at +22 while ranking second on the team in points with 35. His 26 assists this season are most on the team and third among ECAC forwards. Nationally, Jacobs ranks No. 11 in assists-per-game at 0.81 and he is No. 26 in points-per-game at 1.09.
He is looking to become Princeton's fourth selection as ECAC Defensive Forward of the Year where he would join Ian Sharp (1994, 1995) and Syl Apps (1999).
He is joined as a finalist by Jonathan Castagna (Cornell) and Cam MacDonald (Dartmouth),
