No. 31 Princeton Drops Ivy Opener At No. 44 Penn
March 28, 2026 | Men's Tennis
A league with six teams in the top 44 of the national rankings figures to have more than its share of highly contested matches. The opening day of the Ivy League men's tennis season for Princeton and Penn certainly lived up to that.
Unfortunately for the Tigers, this one bounced Penn's way.
The 44th-ranked Quakers got a tie-breaking win at No. 4 singles to edge Princeton 4-3 in the Ivy opener for both. Penn won th doubles point, which proved to be huge, as the teams then split the six singles matches. It was Princeton who took the top three of those matches, with wins at No. 1 from Paul Inchauspe, No. 2 from Top Nidunjianzan and No. 3 from Sebastian Sec.
Princeton will be at Harvard and Dartmouth this coming weekend.
