Riccardo Fantinelli Earns Individual Selection To NCAA Regionals

Senior Riccardo Fantinelli has earned an individual selection to compete at the 2026 NCAA Regionals and will compete in the Columbus Regional hosted by Ohio State at OSU Golf Club May 18-20.

A three-time Ivy League Player of the Year selection, Fantinelli will be making this third career trip to a NCAA Regional and first as an individual after competing in 2023 and 2025 alongside his Princeton teammates.

In 2023, Fantinelli was T51 at the Norman Regional, shooting (218 (+2) which included a final round of 69 (-3). Last year, he was T40 at the Amherst Regional with a score of 216 (+6).

The top seed of the 10 individuals selected to compete alongside the 13 qualified teams fro the Columbus Regional, Fantinelli is looking to qualify through to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship at Omnia La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif. May 29-June 3. To do so, Fantinelli will need to be the top-finishing individual not among the five teams that earn a spot in the national finals.
