Caponiti, Cashman, Houlden, Sykes Named Tiger Field Hockey Captains For 2026

The Princeton field hockey team will have the leadership of four captains as it looks to take the next step from a year ago.

Seniors Olivia Caponiti (G), Ella Cashman (M) and Ottilie Sykes (D) and junior Clem Houlden (D) will be the Tiger field hockey captains for 2026, a season that starts with 10 starters back from the team that reached the NCAA championship game a year ago.

All four Princeton captains were first-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region selections a year ago, after Cashman and Houlden were named first-team All-Ivy League and Caponiti and Sykes were named second-team All-Ivy.

Princeton will open its season Sept 4 against Old Dominion in Chapel Hill, N.C., at the Conference Crossover.
