Women's Ice Hockey Heads to USA Hockey National Festival

PRINCETON, N.J. - USA Hockey announced the athletes invited to the 2026 USA Hockey Women's National Festival on Monday afternoon. The event will take place Aug. 2-9 in Lake Placid, New York, with four Princeton student-athletes earning invitations: Uma Corniea, Megan Healy, Gabby Kim and Rosie Klein.

At the conclusion of the camp, USA Hockey will name the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team, which will face Canada in a three-game series Aug. 12-15 in Richmond, British Columbia.

Princeton will also be represented behind the bench, as Shelly Picard will serve as an assistant coach for the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team, and Morgan Bronstein joins Hockey Operations.

The national team honors continue a strong offseason for the Tigers. Earlier this month, five members of Princeton Women's Ice Hockey's incoming freshman class earned invitations to the USA Hockey Girls National Under-19 Training Camp: Caroline Averill, Maggie Averill, Chloe Brinson, Lia Cericola and Christina Scalese.
