PRINCETON, N.J. – Looking to extend its undefeated streak to start the 2026 season, the Princeton women's rugby team will host West Chester on Saturday at Haaga House.

A Historic Start
Now 2-0, the Tigers boast their best record to start a season in program history (since becoming varsity). After kicking off the 2026 season and the tenure of Head Coach Karameli Fa'ae'e with a win at La Salle, Princeton followed it up last weekend with a dominant home opener win over LIU.

With a final score of 91-0, the Tigers set a new program record for most points scored and largest margin of victory. Malinka Kwemo and Myah Natorp each tallied four tries each.

The Fa'ae'e Era
Fa'ae'e was named head coach of the program in May, coming to Princeton after spending 2025-26 as an assistant coach at Brown and serving as an assistant coach of the USA U-23 team.

The Returners
Including Malinka Kwemo, who was named All-National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Honorable Mention in 2024, the Tigers return fellow seniors Laura Barnds, Ava Gregory, Maya Kenny, Hannah Mulligan and Celia Watson along with juniors Malica Feratovic, Josie Frazer, Annie Huettel, Lila King, Stella McBride, Lindsey Mulligan, Reyna Palmer, Riley Pan
and Raven Robinson. Returning sophomores include Maizy Miller, Myah Natorp, Hazel Pron, Charlie Wolfe and Sara Zavieh.

The Newcomers
Six new sophomores join the Tigers in 2026 in Hazel Conklin, Christina Fuentes, Lehua Harris, Lexie Loughran, Emily Popek and Sophia White. First-years Alexandra Hawthorne and Siena Miller also join the squad.

History Against West Chester
Princeton and LIU will face off for the the first time in 15s this weekend.
