PRINCETON, N.J. — Following a top-10 finish at Saturday's Meadows Challenge, junior Jacob Nenow was named the Ivy League Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Nenow led the 25th-ranked Tigers at the Meadows Challenge, placing ninth individually in a field of more than 150 runners–including individuals from No. 4 Alabama and No. 9 Syracuse–with a time of 23:23.1. Competing in steady rain and wet, challenging conditions at the Princeton XC Course, Nenow helped Princeton to a sixth-place team finish among 15 teams.
After coming through the first 1,500 meters in 30th place, Nenow steadily moved through the field before crossing the finish line eighth overall.
The honor marks the second Ivy League weekly award of his career, following a nod on Sept. 16, 2025.
The Tigers get a week off before returning to action Friday, Oct. 9 at Wisconsin's Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis.
