Alex bases his game around his dominating serve and control of the net. He has improved each year and ended last year playing #2 singles and #1 doubles (with George Carpeni). Last year Alex had a win over nationally-ranked Reid Carleton of Duke. Alex is coming off of knee surgery but has already gained wins over J.T. Sundling (currently the #4 ranked junior in the US) and Calle Hansen (former Pepperdine #1).
