Women's Squash Individual Champions

Five of the sport's most historic names have combined to help Princeton win 11 individual national championships in women's squash. The first Tiger champion, Wendy Zaharko, won three titles (1972, 1974, 1975); Demer Holleran matched that feat with three titles between 1986-88, and Julia Beaver is most Princeton's most recent champion with three straight titles between 1999-2001. Both Nancy Gengler and Katherine Johnson won a title as well.

Princeton head coach Gail Ramsay is currently the only woman in women's college squash history to win four national championships in her collegiate career. She won the 1977-80 titles during her career at Penn State; that run included two titles over Princeton's Nancy Gengler.

Princeton has won two Holleran Cups, which go to the champion of the B flight at the national championships. Kaitlin Sennatt won the title in 2007, while Katie Giovinazzo defeated teammate Alex Sawin to win the 2011 title.
