Christian Earns Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week
Shanna Christian had two complete-game victories over Harvard to help the Princeton softball team win the Ivy League Championship Series, earning the program's 18th Ivy League title and ninth NCAA tournament bid.
For her efforts, she has been named the Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week.
Christian, who has won her last four decisions, leads Princeton in strikeouts at 74, innings pitched at 102 2/3, and complete games, with six.
Princeton's Ivy title and NCAA berth are the program's first since 2008. The Tigers will learn their NCAA tournament regional site Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
