Tailgating 2017
Princeton University provides a welcoming environment to all those who would like to tailgate on football game day. Tailgating is defined as parking in a designated location/area and/or setting up non-permanent facilities, such as tents and tables, to consume food and beverages prior to an athletic event. Princeton affords spectators the choice of tailgating in NON-RESERVED or RESERVED areas around the stadium. NON-RESERVED areas do not use any additional space beyond your parking space. RESERVED areas are specific tailgating locations which groups can reserve for a fee along with rental equipment (i.e., tents, tables, chairs, grills, etc.).
Here you will find all of the information you need to make your game day experience the best possible! If you have any questions or desire more information feel free to send an email to tigertailgates@princeton.edu or call 609-258-9039.
To RESERVE a tailgating area for a group gathering, please comeplete the reservation form in the link below. Space is limited on Football Game days, so please complete the form as soon as possible.

Customer will be financially responsible for any damages to rented items including turf/ground on or around the tailgate area.
Consumption of Alcohol
The consumption of alcohol for persons less than 21 years of age is prohibited. University regulations and state statues on alcohol consumption will be strictly enforced. Any liability associated with underage drinking rests solely on the tailgate event sponsor.
The sale of alcohol at tailgates is not permitted. Charging an access fee to an area where alcohol is provided is also not permitted.
BEER KEGS and items that promote the rapid consumption of alcohol are prohibited at any university athletic event or function. No individual or group may transport a keg to a University athletic event. Drinking games and the use of devices intended to accelerate the consumption of alcohol are prohibited.

Most importantly, individuals, groups and organizations holding or participating in tailgate parties are responsible for their own conduct and are expected to respect the rights of others and the entire University community. Failure to do so will result in the permanent loss of all tailgating and parking privileges.
