No. 33 Princeton Drops 4-3 Match At Dartmouth
April 05, 2026 | Men's Tennis
The script is by now too familiar for the Princeton men's tennis team. The third Ivy League match of the season followed the other two pretty much to the letter — and the end result was painfully the same.
This time it was Sunday afternoon at Dartmouth, where Princeton dropped a tough 4-3 decision to the Big Green. That makes three Ivy matches and three 4-3 losses, all of which were decided in third sets, including a pair of tiebreakers this weekend after Saturday's loss at Harvard.
Princeton dropped the doubles point and then the first set in five of the six singles matches, where only Paul Inchauspe at No. 1 won the first set on his way to a straight set win. Of the five first sets that were lost, Princeton won the second set in four of them and the match in two of them, with Sebastian Sec at No. 3 (3-6, 6-3, 6-1) and Milan Markovits at No. 4 (3-6, 6-2, 6-3).
The match was decided at No. 6, where freshman Jordan Reznik fought back after losing the first set 6-0 to take the second set 6-3 and then extend a tiebreaker before falling 10-8 for the clinching point.
