What made you choose a career in healthcare?
After sustaining a career-altering knee injury in college, I recognized the impact that mobility and function have on quality of life. I was then inspired to pursue a career in restoring patients' function and moreover their identity.
What is the focus of your work today?
Beginning my training in orthopaedic surgery! Excited for the road ahead.

Luckily my clinical medical education continued in the face of COVID-19. I continue to work in our hospital system on the orthopaedic surgery and hospital medicine services. The residency application and selection process was entirely virtual.
How did being a Princeton student-athlete prepare you for the challenges you’ve faced?
Princeton Women's Basketball prepared me in too many ways to count - learning team dynamics, grinding through hard times, and working towards a collective goal with delayed gratification are just a few lessons learned.
What keeps you inspired as you look ahead?
Being surrounded by brilliant and wonderful peers, learning from my patients, and being part of the change in diversifying orthopaedic surgery as a field.
