Vincent Caligiuri enters his second season with the Tigers and his first as an assistant coach after spending the 2022-23 season as Director of Operations.
A 2017 graduate of SUNY-Potsdam, Caligiuri most recently served as a coach with the New Hampshire Avalanche of the EHLP where he was the 2019-20 EHLP Coach of the Year and helped the Avalanche to a pair of regular season championships. Along the way, he helped develop 35+ players who moved on to the next level of junior hockey.
During the 2020-21 season, he worked as a scout for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL and he has spent three years as a skills development coach with Superskills Hockey.
Caligiuri spent four years as a player at SUNY-Potsdam where he was an assistant captain during the 2016-17 season. The 2013-14 Potsdam Newcomer of the Year, he was twice named SUNYAC Rookie of the Week as a freshman. Off the ice, he was a member of SUNY-Potsdam's Athletic Leadership Council. He played jis junior hockey for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack where he was team captain in 2012-13 and was a two-time All-Star.
After graduation, he spent the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons playing professionally in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) with Fayatteville, Quad City, and Macon.
