At Princeton: Unable to compete following a spinal cord injury suffered at the World Junior A Challenge, Doef remained a part of the Princeton men's ice hockey program all four years on campus.
Before Princeton: Played two seasons with the Smiths Falls Bears (CCHL) ... Scored 32 goals and 52 assists in 91 regular season games and added 10 points in 16 playoff appearances ... Bears were CCHL Bogart Cup finalists in 2013-14 ... Named league's Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 after earning Rookie of the Month honors twice ... Selected to play for Team Canada East at the 2014 World Junior A Challenge ... Sustained a spinal cord injury at the World Juniors ...
