Daniel Fecteau has been at Princeton for three years now. This past season Fecteau transitioned into the role of Interim Head Coach of Men's and Women's Diving. Under his leadership in the 2021-22 season, at the Ivy League Championships, the team had nine A-Finalists with the highlight of the Men's team finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 9th on 3 Meter. At NCAA Diving Zone A Championships, all four men qualified to NCAA Championships (SR- Colten Young, FR- Joe Victor, FR- George Callanan, FR- Taso Callanan). On the women's side, Maddie Seltzer finished 16th on 1M, 16th on 3M, and 13th on Platform making her the only female freshman to final in all three events. The highlight at Men's NCAA Championships was Joe Victor finishing 11th in Platform Prelims and placing 16th in Finals, securing Princeton Men's Diving's first NCAA All-American and points scored since 2004.
The two years prior Fecteau was the Assistant Diving Coach and remains the Head Diving Coach of Princeton Tigers Aquatics Club (PTAC) where he is the Vice President of Diving on the Board of Directors. At PTAC, two divers have qualified to USA Diving Junior National Championships. Fecteau coached his first National Champion in 2021 at AAU Diving Junior National Championships.

Daniel Fecteau came to Princeton following a career at the University of Louisville where he set the school's platform record with a score of 350.7 and was awarded ACC Diver of the Week honors during his senior season. Daniel made the ACC Championship finals in each of his events in all four years and was a four-time NCAA Zones qualifier. He was a three-time All-ACC Academic Team honoree, earning recognition in each of his last three years, and was actively involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) while being awarded the ACC Top Six honor for community service in 2017.
While at Louisville, Fecteau coached the Plainview Diving Team for four years while keeping an undefeated record and claiming four straight LSA Championship titles. He is a USA Diving Safety Certified Coach and is American Red Cross-certified as a Lifeguard, in First Aid, CPR and AED.
Originally from Olathe, Kansas, Fecteau was a competitive gymnast for seven years before making the transition to diving. He dove at Blue Valley West High School where he set and holds one-meter records (6-Dive: 378.45, 11-Dive 553.65), including the 5A Kansas State Meet record. Fecteau was a three-time state champion (2013, 2014, 2015) and was awarded high school All-American honors in 2014.
Fecteau holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville, achieved in 2019. Daniel is married to his high school sweetheart, Lexi, since November 2020. The Fecteau's now live in Ewing, New Jersey with their cat named Twister.
