Before Princeton: Was a two-time All-Fairchester Athletic Association honoree and a two-time All-New England Preparatory School Athletic Council honoree at St. Luke's School ... two-time team captain and two-time winner of the team's Heart of the Storm Award, as well as a winner of the school's Storm Award for contributions to the school community ... played No. 1 for all three seasons of competition at St. Luke's ... played three seasons of football, earning the team's Character Award, and was twice the team's Defensive Most Valuable Player honoree.
