Bill Boomer

Bill Boomer, a veteran swim coach and a member of the Rochester Athletics Hall of Fame, is in his first year as the volunteer assistant coach for the Princeton women's swimming and diving team.
Boomer was the head coach for the Rochester men's swim team for 28 years, and then he accepted an assistant coach/technical consultant position with the Stanford swim programs in the 1990s. He has been consulting on swim concepts on both the national and international level for more than two decades, including four stints with the United States men's and women's Olympic swim teams. He has worked with dozens of Olympic medalists, NCAA champions, American & world record holders.
A 2007 inductee into the Rochester Athletics Hall of Fame, Boomer earned a bachelor's degree from Springfield College and a master's degree in education from the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
