It capped a 9-3 season overall, and a 6-1 mark in the Ivy League, including a win over the eventual Ivy champion Crimson in Boston.
At Chicago, Daly helped guide the team to four consecutive Top-15 NCAA finishes, 80 combined varsity records and 180 All-America performances. He coached an individual and relay national champions as well as Haiti's first female Olympic swimmer.
Daly is a 2012 graduate of Middlebury college with a B.A. in Geology. At Middlebury he was a four-year member of the varsity swim team, earning four All-America honors.
"To have a volunteer coach, with four years of experience as an assistant coach, is an incredible advantage to our Tiger student-athletes," Lundgaard said. "Nick's coaching experience is rich. He's helped develop NCAA champions, and an Olympian, at an elite, academic university. He is bright, an avid learner, and somebody who cares for our student athletes. We are grateful to add his expertise to our pool deck."
