Princeton Falls Short to Yale in Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J. - Allison's 71 coupled with her 73 in the first round won her first place at the fourth annual Princeton Invitational hosted by Princeton University at the Springdale Golf Club. Adrienne Gill posted a two-day score of 155, Natalie Christensen ended up at 161, Megan Milam fired a 167, and Vanessa Redman tallied a 171 for the Tigers. The Princeton Black team shot a two-day score of 627, which put them eight strokes behind the winning team from Yale University.
Yale's entire team shot under 80 in the final round, which helped them widen their two-streak lead at the beginning of the day. Sarah Seo shot a two-day score of 148 to finish in second place and lead her team to the title.
Princeton's Orange team consisted of Julie Beuchner, Sarah Kapnick, Candice Smith-Teonis, Liz Pohl, and Whitney Lamberson who shot scores of 160, 174, 176, 182, and 172 respectively to maintain their fifth-place position.
