Men's Soccer Shuts Out Penn, 2-0

PRINCETON, N.J. - Matt Striebel and Matt Behncke each scored a goal in Princeton's 2-0 win over Penn Saturday night to close out the Tigers' regular home season. Princeton ups it record to 9-6-1 (2-4 Ivy), while Penn drops to 5-10-1 (0-5 Ivy).
Striebel scored at 11:21 on a give from Matt Douglas to put the Tigers up 1-0 going into the half. A Penn foul in front of the goal resulted in a direct kick for Behncke to give the junior his sixth goal of the year and the Tigers a 2-0 lead with 30 minutes to go in the game.
Goalkeeper Jason White recorded his fifth shutout of the season making three saves on seven Penn shots. Jeff Groeber made six saves on 12 Princeton shots.
Princeton wraps up its regular season on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Yale.
