PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton (13-4, 6-1 Ivy) women's soccer team will face Wisconsin (15-6-1, 7-4-1 Big Ten) on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 1:00 p.m. CST at the McClimon Track/Soccer Complex in Madison, Wis., in the opening round of the women's NCAA soccer tournament. If the Tigers win they will play Connecticut on Nov. 11 or 12 in the second round.
The Tigers clinched a piece of the Ivy League title Saturday after defeating Penn 1-0 at home. It is the first time since 1982 that the Tigers have won the title. Although Princeton shares the league championship with Dartmouth, the Tigers beat the Big Green in the regular season to earn the automatic bid to the tournament.
