next weekend at New Hampshire (Dec. 16) - 7 p.m. Parsons Percolating - Brad Parsons scored a goal and had an assist in the 7-4 win at Colgate last Friday night. Last year he had a hat trick in the 4-3 win at Rensselaer and tallied three assists against Union.
The Three Amigos - Captain Kirk Lamb, assistant captain Chris Corrinet and defenseman David Schneider all had four points against Union and Rensselaer last year.
Nate the Great - Goalie Nate Nomeland made 26 saves in the 7-4 win at Colgate, and improved his record to 2-0-1.
GWG Guru - Junior Brad Parsons leads the Tigers with two game-winning goals this season.
Union Sin - The Skating Dutchmen lead the ECAC with a staggering 28.0 penalty minutes per game. Vermont, the next most penalized team, tallies only 19.8 penalty minutes per game. Princeton averages 17.2 penalty minutes per game.
Teacher Meets Pupil - Princeton assistant coach Jim Ward coached Union's Seamus Galligan when Wardwas the head coach at Northfield Mt. Hermon.
Double Trouble - Kirk Lamb has scored at least two points in six of the eight games he has played in.
Offensive Lapse - Princeton's 3-0 loss at Cornell was the first time that it was shutout in the last 118 ECAC regular-season games. The last time the Tigers were blanked in consecutive games was in 1976-77 when they were held scoreless in games at Cornell and Clarkson.
Corrinet Playing a Sweet Tune -Chris Corrinet has scored a goal in five of Princeton's last seven games.
Second-Period Enigma - The Tigers have scored only seven of their 33 goals in the second period of games this season. Princeton has scored 13 goals in both the first and third periods.
A Sniper Has Entered the Building - Rensselaer's Marc Cavoise is the last opposing player to have a hat-trick against Princeton. Cavoise's three-goal scoring binge was on Jan. 28, 1999 in 6-2 win over the Tigers.
A Tale of Two Seasons - Rensselaer is averaging an impressive 4.00 goals per game and 10.50 points per game overall this season, but has only been able to muster 2.25 goals per game and 5.25 points per game in ECAC play.
Quesnelle Ahed of Mentor's Pace - Princeton's new coach Len Quesnelle has amassed four wins in his first 9 games, whereas his mentor, Don Cahoon, took ten games to accomplish this feat.
