Meet in Milwaukee for Hockey Showdown
February 14, 2000 | Men's Ice Hockey
November 2000
Tiger Hockey fans will want to be at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee Dec. 29 and 30 when Princeton faces some of the perennial powers of college hockey in the Bank One Badger Hockey Showdown.
In addition to seeing the best in college hockey, Princeton family, friends and fans will gather in the Bradley Room at the Bradley Center for a reception and buffet dinner on Saturday, Dec. 30.
Princeton will open the two-day tournament facing the host Wisconsin Badgers on Friday at 8 p.m. The winner of that game will move on to play the winner of a 5 p.m. contest pitting defending national champion North Dakota against powerful Boston University. The winners face off at 8 p.m. Saturday night following the 5 p.m. consolation game.
The reception sponsored by the Princeton University Hockey Association will run from 6 to 8 p.m. if the Tigers are in the final contest. If not, the reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. as the consolation game concludes. The reception will feature a buffet dinner with a course for every palate, as well as beer and wine. The price is $25 per person, including refreshments.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you will attend and the number in your party. Call the Princeton Hockey office at (609) 258-5058, press 1 and leave a message.
