Tigers Falter at H-Y-P

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Princeton women's track team finsihed third at this weekend's Harvard-Yale-Princeton Track meet this weekend in Cambridge, Mass. The Tigers ended up with a total of 30 points. HArvard finished first with a total of 69 points. Yale had 60 points.
Lauren Simmons finshed first in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.03. Natalie Deffenbaugh was second in the race with a time of 2:14.66. Shawneequa Callier was second in the high jump with a height of 1.70 meters and Rebecca Desman was third, also with a mark of 1.70 meters. Becky Haarlow finished fourth with a 1.60 meter jump.
Amy Buchen finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 2.85 meters. Sharon Jordan finished second int he triple jump with a mark of 11.87 meters.
The Tigers return to action next weekend, hosting the Princeton Invitational at Jadwin Gym.
