Princeton Finishes in Eighth at Heps

HANOVER, N.H. - The Princeton women's track team finished in eighth place at the Heptagonal championships this weekend in Hanover, N.H. The Tigers had a total of 22 points over the weekend.
Princeton was led by co-captain Shawneequa Callier (Sr., New York, N.Y.) who finished in second place in the high jump with a height of 5' 11.25" and earned eight points for the team. Natalie Deffenbaugh (So., Maplewood, N.J.) finished in fifth place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.35 and earned two points for the Tigers. Princeton got two points yesterday from Jen Cannistra (Jr., Sparta, N.J.) with her second place performance in the 5000 meters. The Tigers' 4 x 800-meter relay team finished in third to earn six points for the team. They had a time of 9:04.47.
The Tigers were looking for their first Heps title since the indoor season of 1998.
