Tigers Fall to Yale and Penn

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Princeton University women's track and field team traveled to New Haven, Conn. to take on the Yale Bulldogs and the Penn Quakers in dual meet action. Th Tigers finished third to the two teams with a total of 41 points. Yale was first with 89 points and Penn was second with 62.
Princeton got first-place finishes from four athletes. Lauren Simmons took first in the 800 meters with a time of 2:11.37. Natalie Deffenbaugh won the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:01.88. Lauren Hoffman won the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:05.81.
Princeton got first and second place in the high jump. Shawneequa Callier took first with a height of 5-9 and Becca Desman was second with a mark of 5-5.
The Tigers will next compete at the Widener Invitational on Saturday.
