Men's Lightweight Crew Sweeps Navy And Penn

PRINCETON, N.J. - The men's lightweight crew rebounded from last week's second-place finish to Rutgers, as the Tigers picked up a pair of victories against Navy and Penn Saturday on Lake Carnegie. The Tigers finished first in all four races, including an 11-second victory in the varsity eight race.
In the varsity eight event, the Orange and Black crossed the finish line in 6:15.81, followed by Penn (6:27.25) in second and Navy (6:40.53) in third. Princeton won both the second and third varsity races, with Navy taking second.
The Tigers took first place in the only freshman race with a time of 6:27.36. Navy finished second with Penn's first and second freshman boats taking third and fourth, respectively.
Princeton will return to action on Saturday, April 29, as it hosts Harvard and Yale.
