BOSTON, Mass. - The Princeton University women's golf team placed fifth in this weekend's weather-shortened Boston College Invitational. The 12-team field only played Saturday's round due to the snowstorm Sunday morning.
Senior co-captain Meagan Smith led the way for the Tigers with an 84. Freshman Vanessa Redman shot an 86 while junior Natalie Christiansen shot an 87. Freshman Megan Milam had an 89 while junior Adrienne Gill shot a 96. Gill's score did not count towards the team total.
The lowest score for Princeton was shot by sophomore Momoke Sone, a sophomore who entered the tournament individually and didn't count towards the team total. She shot an 83, which tied for ninth place in the tournament.
Yale took the team title with a 325, followed by Boston College with a 340. Rutgers placed third (343), Dartmouth fourth (345) and Princeton fifth (346).
