Princeton, N.J. - Princeton lost its first game of the season to a talented Dartmouth team, who was lead by reserve forward, Robbie Daly. After entering the game early in the second half, Daly scored two goals to give the Big Green the victory 3-1 at Lourie-Love Field. Daly's game-winning goal at 78:28 was the result of a great pass by Damien Quinn, which Daly deposited in the lower-left corner of the Princeton goal. Six minutes later, Daly knocked in his second goal of the contest as Princeton's defense was caught out of position while trying to mount an all-out offensive attack. Quinn recorded his second assist of the game on the goal. Princeton's Mike Nugent scored the first goal of the game midway through the first half on a nice hard shot that beat the goaltender in the lower-right corner. The goal was Nugent's fifth in the last three games. Big Green midfielder Nick Magnuson blew a 40-yard shot by Princeton's Jason White to even the score just before the half. White commented after the game, "The ball was out of my reach, and it dropped about 3 feet once it got past me." Princeton did not play with the same intensity that they had in the season opener, and according to Nugent, "We won our last two games without playing our best soccer, and we weren't ready to play today." Princeton's next game will be against Rutgers at Princeton Stadium on Wednesday September 27th at 7:30 p.m. Dartmouth College (3-2, 1-0) 3 Princeton University (4-1, 0-1) 1
