Princeton, N.J. - Allison's 73 places her in first place at the fourth annual Princeton Invitational hosted by Princeton University at the Springdale Golf Club. Adrienne Gill fired a 75, Natalie Christensen scored a 81, Megan Milam shot an 85, and Vanessa Redman came in with an 87 for the Princeton Orange Team, who trails Yale University by two strokes heading into tomorrow's final round. Princeton's Black team consisted of Julie Buechner, Candice Smith-Teonis, Sarah Kapnick, Whitney Lamberson, and Liz Pohl. These Tigers shot 79, 84, 87, 89, and 91 respectively to put them 27 shots back in fifth place.
Yale shot an opening round score of 312 to claim the day-one lead over Princeton by two shots, and were lead by Sarah Seo, who posted a 75. The College of William & Mary stands in third place two shots behind the Princeton Orange team and well within striking distance. Tomorrow's round begins at 8:00 a.m. and should provide some drama down the stretch.
