Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's fencing started off the New Year with a blast by beating CCNY 22-5. The Tigers won each of the three competitions, and Princeton swept the ep?e competition 9-0.
Kristiina Hurme (Sr., San Antonio, Texas), Mary Dunlop (Jr., Murray Hill, N.J.) and Simran Winkelstern (Fr., Rochester, N.Y.) each won all three of their respective matches in the ep?e competition.
Leslie (Sr., Morristown, N.J.) won all three of her matches in the foil competition, and Jones (Sr., Kenilworth, Ill.) won all three of her matches in the sabre competition.
The Tigers play host to Rutgers, St. John's and Columbia on February 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. in Jadwin Gymnasium.
