Princeton Women Sit in Third After Day One Of ECAC Golf Tournament

Lewisburg, Pa. - Freshman Avery Kiser (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) shot an opening round 75 to lead the Princeton women's golf team into a tie for third place with Boston College after the first day of the ECAC Tournament, hosted by Bucknell University. James Madison is currently in the lead after an opening round 307 while Yale sits in second, 15 strokes behind after carding a 322.
Junior Vanessa Redman (Orinda, Calif.) shot an 82, followed by freshman Taryn Haliday's (Lake Oswego, Ore.) 83. Freshman Meg Nakamura (Park Ridge, Ill.) carded an 87 and sophomore Sarah Kapnick (Winnetka, Ill.) turned in a 97 for the Tigers.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with the first tee time set for 8:30 a.m.
