Princeton Finishes Second At ECAC Golf Tournament

Lewisburg, Pa. - Freshman Avery Kiser (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) shot a 72 in the second round to finish with a two-day total of 147 and capture the individual title at the Eastern College Athletic Conference tournament, hosted by Bucknell University. Princeton finished in second place with a 646, behind tournament champion James Madison, which captured the team-title with a score of 619. Brown came in third with a 647, while William & Mary turned in a 658 and Yale shot a 662 to round out the top-five.
Junior Vanessa Redman (Orinda, Calif.) was the Tigers second finisher with a 162. Freshmen Taryn Haliday (Lake Oswego, Ore.) and Meg Nakamura (Park Ridge, Ill.) carded a 168 and a 170 respectively. Sophomore Sarah Kapnick (Winnetka, Ill.) turned in a 181 for the Tigers. Princeton was playing without sophomore Esty Dwek (Geneva, Switzerland) who was in Switzerland.
Next on the schedule for the Tigers is a trip to Georgia for the Georgia State Invitational, which begins on Monday, Oct. 29.
