Women's Golf Tied For First At Georgia State Invitational

ATLANTA, GA. - Sophomore Esty Dwek (Geneva, Switzerland) shot an opening round 78 to lead the Princeton women's golf team into a first place tie with host Georgia State at the Georgia State Invitational, hosted by the Eagles Landing Golf Club. Jacksonville State sits in third with a 320, while Southern Mississippi and Charleston Southern occupy the fourth and fifth place slots with a 321 and a 323 respectively.
Freshman Meg Nakamura (Park Ridge, Ill.) is one stroke behind Dwek after a first round 79. Junior captain Vanessa Redman (Orinda, Calif.) turned in a 80, freshman Avery Kiser (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) carded a 81 and classmate Taryn Haliday (Lake Oswego, Ore.) finished the day with a 84.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
