Women's Golf Places Fifth At Jon Kirk/Lady Panther Invitational

STOCKBRIDGE, GA. - Junior captain Vanessa Redman (Orinda, Calif.) carded a two-day total of 159 to earn a tie for ninth place as the Princeton women's golf team finished fifth at the Ninth Annual John Kirk/Lady Panther Invitational with a 649. The Tigers had been tied fir first place with Georgia State at the end of the first round after shooting a 318. The Lady Panthers held on to capture the title with a 626.
Freshman Avery Kiser (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) finished in a four-way tie for 18th with a 162. Sophomore Esty Dwek (Geneva, Switzerland) shot a 165 and finished in a three-way tie for 26th. Freshman Meg Nakamura (Park Ridge, Ill.) finished in a tie for 29th, two-strokes behind with a 167 and classmate Taryn Haliday (Lake Oswego, Ore.) turned in a 168.
