Van Beuren Named IvyLeagueSports.com Rookie of the Week

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton freshman Teddy van Beuren (Spring City, Pa.) was named the IvyLeagueSports.com Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal in Princeton's season finale against Yale on Saturday.
Van Beuren helped Princeton to a 2-0 win scoring off a Mike Nugent assist in the second half of play. He finished the year with a goal and an assist on two shots taken. Van Beuren is a product of the strong FC Delco club program, were he captained the former regional champions and Dallas Cup finalists.
Princeton awaits word of an NCAA tournament berth. The 2001 selection show will air at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November. 19.
